A dedicated Fanzone is set to enhance supporters’ matchday experience at for RGC this season.
The zone, badged as the ‘Cwtsh’, will be launched for this Friday’s match against the Dragon’s regional side, and will open at 6pm in time for the 7:30 kick off.
Cwtsh which will be set up behind the posts will include bars, tea and coffee, entertainment, facepainting and quizzes for fans young and old, and has been set up by RGC and Conwy Council.
Cllr Graham Rees said: “Thirty lads knocking lumps is all well and good for the purist but these days sports fans expect more. The fanzone we had for the Wales football match against Portugal went down so well that we thought we’d set up something more permanent.
“We hope especially that it will attract families with a professional recorded singer and entertainment which will make the RGC experience something that lasts a few hours not just during the game.”
Tickets are available from Colwyn Bay Leisure Centre (£8 adult and £6 concessions).
