RGC play at home on Saturday and it will be a chance to put in a performance after a disappointing away game at Llandovery.
The opening day defeat was felt by players and supporters alike, as the RGC side didn’t perform levels they reached last season.
Andrew Williams captained the side at the Drovers “Naturally as a squad we're all disappointed with the performance at Llandovery. As Evan (Yardley) mentioned post match our accuracy was way off and that inaccuracy at the set piece cost us two penalty tries.”
“That's an added incentive for us to welcome back our superb supporters with a performance to match. Rest assured we'll be working hard to right the wrongs of Llandovery and ensure we kick off the 2017/18 at home with a bang!”
RGC face a Llanelli side that is coached by a familiar face in Phil Davies, and head north full of confidence after a win against Carmarthen Quins.
