RGC welcomes another player to the 100 club when Carwyn Ap Myrddin reaches his century of appearances on Saturday.
It is fitting that the accolade occurs in another first, with RGC playing in the WRU National Cup Semi-Final for the first time.
Carwyn is another of the RGC originals, who along with his brother Llywarch formed part of the RGC backline that won promotion from Division 1 East in 2013.
The winger has been flying down the wing and has become a true fans favourite with his try scoring performances.
One game that stands in the memory is a last gasp try in the corner against Beddau to clinch a 10-9 win, and he has been running in tries in all 3 leagues we have played in.
Afon Bagshaw recently hit the 100 mark “Carwyn is a great player and a great bloke! From the first time I played in the same team in Division One East he scored when he wanted…. as the song goes! Welcome to the club!”
