RGC head to the Gnoll on Saturday looking for their 1st away win of the season.
Neath are unbeaten so far with 2 wins out of 2 in the league, and combined with some good pre-season results are a form side.
Both teams left it late last week to pick up the victories, with the All Blacks scoring at the death with a Benyon-Thomas try against Carmarthen Quins. Neath Coach Gareth Llewellyn will be happy with the start from his side “we are playing good, attacking rugby which pleases our supporters. Our generally young squad with a few senior, wise men is learning fast and turning a few heads again.”
RGC played Neath away last year on the 10th of September running in 3 tries (2 Afon Bagshaw, 1 Ap Myrddin) winning 30-16. A year on the north Wales traveling support will be hoping for something similar this Saturday.
After last Saturdays win against Llanelli Mark Jones told his players the win wont mean anything unless they back it up against Neath.
