Focus on Saturday

Afon Bagshaw  made his first appearance of the season last weekend against Swansea, and although it wasn’t the result he was after, he knows that RGC have plenty more rugby to play “Last week has gone, and we can’t change the Swansea result, so the focus this week is about our performance against Carmarthen Quins.”

“Training has been positive this week and is always good knowing we are back playing at Stadiwm Zip World, and we will be looking to give our supporters something to shout about. We have 2 games at home, so it a chance to get some momentum before the league breaks as well.”

The full-backs pre-season has involved rehab for a knee injury, so he was seen a number of players get gametime as he watched from the stands “The competition for places is strong at the moment,  so we all know that we have to perform in training as everyone is wanting to get into that starting line-out.  Carmarthen Quins are coming here on the back of some good results, so they will be full of confidence themselves and we know the will want to take another win down back down south.”
